Photography Photoshop Scavenger Hunt

Image
Note: That all of the photos I used a little bit of photoshop to them for the lighting mostly. Also some of these photos were taken by my two friends Cam  and  Angelina   and I'm sorry for the hightlight thing I don't know how to fix it so please bare with me on this. Artwork: Balance Symmetrical Definition: When side has more proportion then the other. Why I chose this photo: I chose this photo because I knew that I could photoshop it to make it more creepy and dark. Artwork: Depth Linear Perspective   Definition: When two parallel lines at a point in the distance of the artwork. The inter secting point is called the "Vanishing Point". Why I chose this photo:  In the picture you can see that the walls and the lines of the floor tiles become smaller, and the distance shrinks as the picture goes further. The door is a noticeable  vanishing point, where everything ends there.  Artwork: Leading Lines Definition:  W

Description: I found this aboriginal artwork that is called Setting Sun by Marianne Nicolson. The art is shown by a sun set picture on the wall and then a projection of some aboriginal figures on top of it. The lines in the projected figures are thick but curvy with many shapes like circles, triangles and rectangles. The colours she used in the art is the sun set being warm colours and then black and some shades of grey over top. Analysis: I feel that there's no focal point in the art, but if there were, it would be the sun set picture. The balance used in this artwork is asymmetrical because of the projections has different lines on each projection/figures. To me it’s a kind of hard to find where the light comes from. But looking the artwork, the projector would have the most light on the artwork. Plus all colours in the artwork have pretty dark colours in it. Then the darkest part of the artwork would be the edges where there is no light going on the wall. Int

Logo Design Analysis

Music is so powerful. To us we can either get uplifted by music or feel pain from it. Music can even make us feel the comfort that everything is going to be all right. Also most of the time music can tell people of who we are as a person. This logo is for my company called Sakura Connections. This company is a music recording/connections company. The things that are different about this company compared to other companies are that we give people with all kinds of music to make them known. Even for people like DJs who make remixes, night cores, dubsteps we make the connection to make their music their own without the problem of copyright.  Copyright is not easy so people who make music. Even more for people that make music like nightcores. (Nightcores are songs that people make them to go faster and a little but higher than the original.) Because of people taking songs and remixing it basically.   Also the client would have the option to give people who he/she can get inspirat

Video Commentary

Over the weekend I watched a video/documentary about logo design. So I just wanted to give a little talk/commentary about the video and what felt guring the video and what I feel about it now. To give a summary of this video, the videowas about this logo designer and he was sent a logo challenge to make a logo challenage that's not to modern but still make the logo look cool. So he was going through the steps of logo design with also talking briefly about typography. What I thought of the video is that for logo design their are many steps to it and their is going to be failures along the way. That's why logo designers take so much time perfecting their work. For instance the first step would be write what needs to be in the logo. Then you sketch little rough drafts to see what the logo should looks like. Personally I don't think that I would take time on a logo, so i guess that logo design is not for me. But people do this for their job and get paid for doing a good jo
