Description: I found this aboriginal artwork that is called Setting Sun by Marianne Nicolson. The art is shown by a sun set picture on the wall and then a projection of some aboriginal figures on top of it. The lines in the projected figures are thick but curvy with many shapes like circles, triangles and rectangles. The colours she used in the art is the sun set being warm colours and then black and some shades of grey over top. Analysis: I feel that there's no focal point in the art, but if there were, it would be the sun set picture. The balance used in this artwork is asymmetrical because of the projections has different lines on each projection/figures. To me it’s a kind of hard to find where the light comes from. But looking the artwork, the projector would have the most light on the artwork. Plus all colours in the artwork have pretty dark colours in it.
