3:6:9 Video Evaluation

The strengths in the video would be in my opinion the music in the video. The weaknesses in the video were the shakiness in the video and how in the end we changed the koala to the unicorn because the last time we were filming we couldn't find the koala. I think the soundtrack impacted the emotional of our video because it was so fast paste, it made the impact of suspense. We had to speed the soundtrack so it could fit perfectly with the video. The fast soundtrack that we chose was to create the mood of suspense. My experience with creating a video with a group was good. I typically don’t like being in groups but I think it worked out. In the end worked out in the end that I would do the filming and my partner did the video editing.

Digital Surrealism using Photoshop

Image
1.      The message I want to send to people is that in the most famous saying “don’t judge a book by it’s cover but with a twist. In my picture I want to show that there is a mask on me and the other faded pictures/figures are the emotion on the inside. The symbolism I used for the picture to stand out more was probably the sign with the trust crossed out and the computer smiley face on my face. Through those symbolism like the no trust sign for that I feel sometimes I have no trust for people even my best friends. Then for the smiley face that’s covering my face that it’s trying to show the mask feel in the picture.   2.      From the beginning I started sketching different things and how I would do them on Photoshop but most of them were going to be kind of on my experience. I finally decided to one that had me in the middle with headphones smiling. Then some people in the background with sad emotions. Through that I took a picture...

Note: That all of the photos I used a little bit of photoshop to them for the lighting mostly. Also some of these photos were taken by my two friends Cam  and  Angelina   and I'm sorry for the hightlight thing I don't know how to fix it so please bare with me on this. Artwork: Balance Symmetrical Definition: When side has more proportion then the other. Why I chose this photo: I chose this photo because I knew that I could photoshop it to make it more creepy and dark. Artwork: Depth Linear Perspective   Definition: When two parallel lines at a point in the distance of the artwork. The inter secting point is called the "Vanishing Point". Why I chose this photo:  In the picture you can see that the walls and the lines of the floor tiles become smaller, and the distance shrinks as the picture goes further. The door is a noticeable  vanishing point, where everything ends there.  Artwork: Leadi...

Description: I found this aboriginal artwork that is called Setting Sun by Marianne Nicolson. The art is shown by a sun set picture on the wall and then a projection of some aboriginal figures on top of it. The lines in the projected figures are thick but curvy with many shapes like circles, triangles and rectangles. The colours she used in the art is the sun set being warm colours and then black and some shades of grey over top. Analysis: I feel that there's no focal point in the art, but if there were, it would be the sun set picture. The balance used in this artwork is asymmetrical because of the projections has different lines on each projection/figures. To me it’s a kind of hard to find where the light comes from. But looking the artwork, the projector would have the most light on the artwork. Plus all colours in the artwork have pretty dark colours in it. Then the darkest part of the artwork would be the edges where there is no light going on the wall. Int...
